At a Public meeting of the
Parochial Electors of the Parish
of Hayfield held in the Board
School Hayfield on Friday the
19th day of April 1895 at 8 pm
“ for the purpose of adopting the
provisions of the Lighting and
Watching Act 1833 for the said
Parish of Hayfield”

Moved by Mr Henry Cottam seconded
By Mr John Wild and Resolved

That the Lighting Act 1833 be adopted in this
Parish in accordance with section 7 of the
Local Government act 1894

Moved by  Mr Joseph Turner seconded by
Mr A B   Wimpenny and Resolved

 

That the Hayfield Parish Council be authorised to
levy a rate of three pence in the pound on the
rateable value of the whole parish estimated
to  produce the sum of one hundred and twenty
pounds
